A sweet a savory farmers market recipe!
Cook your bacon by weaving it together. Cook low and slow. Flip once browned. Once cooked on both sides, season with 10-20 grinds of Idahoan spice and a drizzle of honey.
One your bacon is cooked and seasoned, add a splash of jalapeno wine for an extra kick! This will also make a glaze for the peaches.
Set the cooked bacon aside. Cute the peaches in half and remove the pit. Season the peaches with 5 grinds of Idahoan seasoning on each side. Once seasoned, cook the peaches in the remaining bacon fat, honey, and wine glaze until golden. Remove when finished.
In the same pan, toast sliced pieces of sourdough by leaving a light amount of fat at the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle the goat cheese on top of the bread to soften.
Build your sandwich by layering the bread/cheese, peaches and bacon. Add basil to garnish. Serve and enjoy!
